Hi Sam, I've compared the four ways to reach the Ottawa conference. The bus is by far the 1, but six hours each way is more than I can face. Flying is the 2, yet the airport 3, so we would lose some of that saved time getting into the city. The train looks like a good middle choice: the seats recline and there is even 4 on board. If we drive, we get door-to-door convenience, though we would have to 5 once we arrive downtown. On balance I think 6 makes the most sense for us, since the fare is reasonable and the route is relaxing. Since you and I are 7 in the same department, we may as well travel together and share the trip. I'll book this week. Thanks for being so 8 about the planning. Dana
