About 11 minutes. Each Reading part is separately timed and advances automatically, and you cannot go back to it afterwards.

Why can I never find the answer in the passage?

Because it is not there in those words. Paragon states officially that you should never expect the correct answer choice to be stated in the very same words as the text. The correct option paraphrases; the option that reuses the passage's exact wording is usually the trap.

What is the reply section in CELPIP Reading Part 1?
