Dear Ms. Coulson,
I am writing about the new camping rule your parks branch is proposing for group campers at provincial campgrounds. I definitely agree that some limits are needed to keep our campgrounds safe and orderly. However, I disagree with one major point. Your branch is proposing a "single-tent site" rule that would allow only one tent on each reserved campsite, unless the campers are immediate family members. Your logic is simply that several tents crowded onto one site block the fire lanes and disturb neighbouring campers. You state that this rule has done much to reduce incidents at campgrounds in other provinces. There is simply no conclusive evidence to support this claim.
