Dear Ms. Caron,
I am writing in response to your letter that appeared in the May 9th edition of the Winnipeg Free Press. In your letter, you argued that residents avoid borrowing from the public library because its hours are too limited. You used the example of how, recently, you arrived at the Henderson branch only to find that it had already closed for the evening. As a senior librarian, I can assure you that incidents such as yours are rarely the fault of our staff. Perhaps the focus of your frustration should be directed to the funding decisions made by the city, and to the reading habits of residents themselves.
