Dear Julian,

I feel bad about not being there for your big day today. Sixteen at last! Now you can finally apply for your first part-time job, just as you have been hoping to do for ages. A parcel should reach your mailbox any day now, and I hope it makes up for my missing the celebration. I won't spoil the surprise, but it has something to do with photography. I picked it up during my travels here on Prince Edward Island.
