I'm sorry it has taken me so long to get back to you; it has been a hectic month at the cabin. We finally made up our minds and decided to rent out the old family cabin on Lake Temagami for the whole summer, and the first guests arrive next week! A young couple from Sudbury booked it for July, which is a wonderful start, not to mention a real treat for us to see the place used again after so many quiet years. Needless to say, my mother is over the moon that the cabin will be full of life. She has been digging through closets all week, hunting for the old canoe paddles and the lanterns we used to light when the power went out. You know how often the power goes out up there during a storm! I keep telling her to slow down, but she does not always listen to advice.
