Read the following message.

Dear Helen and Rob,

I saw the news about the wildfire that swept through Cranbrook last week, and I was so relieved to get your message. It was good to learn that you are both safe, even if it was hard to hear that your cabin was damaged. Still, you were fortunate that you lost only the back porch and a window or two. We know that so many of your neighbours were far less lucky. The reports showed the dreadful destruction the flames left behind, the homes reduced to ash and the forest blackened for miles, and our hearts go out to every family that lost so much.
