Hi Camille,

It feels like an age since I last sat down to write, and the house has been so full lately that I have hardly had a spare minute. My sister Elena flew in from Brazil a fortnight ago, and my parents drove up from Windsor besides, so every bed has been taken and the kettle has scarcely stopped. We showed them the vineyards and the harbour here in Picton before Elena carried on to Montreal yesterday; she is staying there with an old colleague now and flies home at the weekend. She keeps asking after you, just as she has since you and I first shared a flat at university.
