The Listening section takes about 47–55 minutes across six parts, plus a short unscored practice task at the start. Each set here is timed to match that pace so test day feels familiar.

No. Every clip plays exactly once — there is no replay button — so the goal is to catch the information the first time. Our practice sets follow the same play-once rule so you build the right instincts.

Yes. The test center provides an erasable noteboard and marker, and note-taking is one of the most useful habits for Listening precisely because the audio is not repeated.

About 38 scored multiple-choice questions across the six parts, spread roughly 8, 5, 6, 5, 8 and 6. A few unscored trial questions may also appear, though you will not be able to tell which.

Primarily Canadian and standard North American English, reflecting everyday Canadian situations and news-style audio. Getting used to that accent and pace is part of the preparation.

It is computer-scored: each answer is right or wrong with no penalty for guessing, and your total converts to a CELPIP level from 1 to 12 that equals your CLB level exactly.
